Social Rides

Throughout the year, we love to organise social rides that include a café stop! We usually have two ride leaders on hand, which means we can split into a “Faster” group and a “Slower” group. And do not worry, as we have a no drop policy to ensure everyone gets back together.

Not all our social rides are listed on the website, so be sure to check out our Facebook group for the latest updates. You can also take a peek at our calendar to find details on upcoming rides.

Time Trials

Our time trials take place from April to August. We offer a variety of routes, ranging from flat and fast to rolling terrain. During time trials, participants start in one minute intervals, and all courses are fully marshalled. It’s just you against the clock, and it’s an excellent way to test yourself and see your progress each week. You can use either a time trial bike or a road bike, as long as you wear a helmet and have both a front and rear light.

Check out our courses on our calendar.

Gravel Rides

Looking for adventure beyond the tarmac? Our club’s gravel rides are all about exploring scenic backroads, occasional forest trails, muddy fields in Lincolnshire, and hidden countryside routes at a fun and sociable pace. And, of course, we always include a coffee stop!

Come join us! Check out our calendar for details on upcoming rides.

Audax

Audax is a fun and exciting way to experience long distance cycling! It’s not a race; instead, it’s all about setting personal goals and enjoying the journey at your own pace. You’ll follow a marked route with checkpoints along the way, allowing you to appreciate the ride. The routes are beautiful and thoughtfully planned, often taking you through charming country lanes you might not have explored otherwise. And the best part? You’ll earn your very own Brevet card upon completion!

Please save the date by checking our calendar.

Breeze Rides

A Breeze ride is exclusively for women and is designed to encourage more women to cycle in a friendly and supportive environment. These rides are hosted by Liz, a trained Breeze champion. She will ensure that the pace is manageable and suitable for all participants, regardless of their cycling ability. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cyclist, these rides aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where women can enjoy cycling together.

Not all our social rides are listed on the website, so be sure to check out our Facebook group for the latest updates. You can also look in advance Liz’s Let’s Ride for upcoming rides.

Go Ride

British Cycling Go-Ride is a grassroots program designed to introduce young people to cycling and promote the sport at a community level. We focus on providing fun, inclusive, and accessible riding opportunities for children and young people aged 16 and under. With Go-Ride, young cyclists can build their skills, get fit, and gain confidence through a variety of fun activities, coaching sessions, and events. Safety is a top priority, and we love to share how cycling can be a healthy and enjoyable activity for all young enthusiasts.

At the moment, we aren’t running any sessions. If you’re interested in coaching, feel free to reach out by emailing LindseyRoadsCC@gmail.com.
